Allgeier Experts Merges Engineering Service Companies

Wiesbaden/Munich, 19 December 2017. Allgeier Experts, the personnel and project services provider, will merge its affiliate recompli GmbH with the Engineering Services division of Goetzfried Professionals GmbH as from 1 January 2018. Both entities, which have already worked closely together this year, will operate under the name Allgeier Engineering GmbH in future. Allgeier Engineering will offer a wide portfolio of development services in the automotive and rail sectors in five key areas. Ralf Erhardt (previously Managing Director of recompli GmbH) and Thomas Thurner (previously Head of Engineering at Goetzfried Professionals GmbH) will assume dual leadership of the new company.

"The market for services delivered through expert groups and managed services has been growing significantly for some time. We are rigorously following this trend in our sector. The business model of Allgeier Engineering supplements the personnel services portfolio of Allgeier Experts in the form of effective project, technical and methodological expertise and the necessary process know-how in engineering,” explained Thomas Thurner. "After working intensively towards the merger last year, we are delighted that we can now officially get things started under one flag,” added Ralf Erhardt. "Our wide-ranging expertise and size - we will have more than 130 employees in future - provide us with excellent market and growth potential.”

"The aim of merging our two engineering units is to make better use of the available synergies. This will benefit both the business division and the company as a whole,” explained Markus Ley, Board Member of Allgeier Experts. “Allgeier Experts Services GmbH, a specialist in IT services, and Allgeier Engineering GmbH together represent all service-orientated project activities of Allgeier Experts SE, and thus complement our personnel services divisions through profound problem-solving expertise.”

Wide portfolio of development services

Allgeier Engineering helps its clients to implement challenging projects involving automotive and rail technology in the field of technically embedded electronic systems. In the five key areas (quality management, system integration, testing, software development and project management) this affiliate of Allgeier Experts offers a modular service portfolio. This ranges from consultancy services to the independent implementation of tasks and the realisation of whole projects based on service contracts or ‘managed services’.

New company headquarters in Munich

The merger will also bring about a change in location. The new company headquarters of Allgeier Engineering will be at Wilhelm-Wagenfeld-Strasse 24 in Munich, which will be home to a large proportion of the administration and also certain projects. In future, Allgeier Engineering will also operate from Filderstadt (near Stuttgart), Buckow (near Berlin), Friedrichshafen and Pilsen (Czech Republic).
