Allgeier Experts joins the German Association for Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics (BME)

The personnel and project service provider Allgeier Experts has since January been a member of the German Association of Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics (BME), one of the most important professional associations for buyers, supply chain managers and logistics specialists in Europe. After successfully attending the BME Symposium for the first time last November, Allgeier Experts is now hoping for even stronger opportunities for participation and networking in the rapidly changing environment of digitalisation.

“The digitalisation of business processes, agile organisational structures and flexible working time models have massive effects on the modern working world, particularly on purchasing and the integration of external personnel,” says Allgeier Experts CEO Markus Ley. “As a strategic partner for future-oriented workforce management, we want to beneficially contribute our expertise to the BME network in the future while absorbing suggestions and inspiration from other service providers and purchasing departments on the company side.”

Founded in 1954, the association now has 9,500 members, is divided into 38 regions and offers hundreds of meetings, events, lectures and discussions on important topics of the future every year. Together, its members embody an annual purchasing volume of EUR 1.25 trillion. That makes the BME one of the strongest associations in Germany. Allgeier Experts, headquartered in Wiesbaden, is a member of the regional Rhine-Main association.

Allgeier Experts participated as an exhibitor at the BME Purchasing and Logistics Symposium in Berlin in November 2017 for the first time. During the exhibition, the company offered information on strategies for modern workforce management and worked with symposium visitors in a workshop to develop solutions for minimising compliance risks when awarding projects.
